Framed Fine Art Print of Californian Redwoods of Great Otway National Park(May 2022)

The Californian Redwoods (Sequoia Sempervirens) of Great Otway National Park were planted as an experiment in the 1930s. The experiment has long been abandoned, but these 60m tall giants still have a long way to grow, and may eventually reach the colossal size this species is more well known for in California. Meanwhile, the Californian Redwoods of Great Otway National Park transports visitors to a magical world just steps beyond the entrance.

We visited the redwoods on a day spent exploring the waterfalls and forests of Great Otway National Park, as part of a road trip on the Great Ocean Road in May 2022. I wandered aimlessly around the incredibly tall trunks. Late in May, the sun started making its way down the horizon early. At just the right moment, the last of the strongest rays squeezed and stretched between rows of trees, forming enchanting beams of light that seem to cut through the thick forest air.
